Trust in giving begins with accountability. As the Işıkevi Foundation we publish our income and expenditure, audit reports and donation policy for everyone to see.

The audit process
- Accounts are reviewed each year by an independent audit firm and the report is published on the Documents page.
- The Foundation Audit Board checks expenditure and donation records four times a year.
- An e-receipt is issued the day a donation is received; you can verify it by entering the receipt number in the Receipt Lookup tool.
- A donation made to a specific campaign is spent only on that campaign; if the goal is exceeded, the surplus moves to a similar project and the donor is informed.

Outline of our donation policy
- Anonymous donations are accepted; for one-off donations above 50,000 TRY we ask for the source of funds.
- Donations from the arms, tobacco and gambling sectors are not accepted.
- No benefit is given to donors in return; we only offer thanks and updates.
- Complaints and feedback can be sent to etik@isikevivakfi.org.tr; every submission is answered within 10 working days.
